The complete programme. We see the training through and I arm you with the knowledge to continue your sighthound’s journey to true off-lead freedom.

  • Sighthound-specific recall, building the Big Six: recall, stay, wait, sit, down and heel
  • Everything in conditioning, plus the full training

I only take one recall dog at a time, so there is usually a wait. Your hound lives with me for the whole stay and the training gets my full attention.

The method

Focus before freedom

A sighthound will not come back to someone it is not paying attention to. So the work starts with calm and focus, then builds to recall in open ground, day after day, rather than in a one-hour slot once a week.

  • Sighthound-specific recall, building the Big Six
  • Specialist e-collar conditioning, calibrated to your dog
  • Real-world practice every day during the stay
  • Written protocol and aftercare, so it keeps working at home

Questions
Which dogs is it for?

Sighthounds only: greyhounds, whippets, lurchers, salukis, deerhounds and their crosses, never any other breed.

What is included?

Residential boarding, raw food and daily WhatsApp photo and video updates, plus a written protocol and aftercare at the end.

Where does my hound stay?

In my home in NW London, never a kennel, with a 350ft secure private garden. Collection and drop-off cover Hampstead, North Finchley and Highgate.

Is the e-collar included?

The e-collar isn’t included in the programme price. During the stay, your hound trains on my own collar. When the stay ends, I’m happy to source the right collar for your hound’s size, usually an Educator Mini, and fit and set it up for you. If you’d prefer to buy your own, I’ll guide you through choosing and setting it up.

Which programme should I choose?

You don’t need to decide straight away. After the meet and greet and your hound’s first night’s stay, I’ll give you my honest assessment and recommend the programme that suits your dog best.
